Role

In this position, you will be managing and coordinating projects to ensure their timely, in-budget delivery.  You will find yourself maintaining a complete understanding of FlexWare project paths and plans going forward. Included in this role will be the coordination of multiple projects including their activities and resourcing across multiple sites, as needed. You may also be required to execute a project to completion with direction and output from other team members.

This position will have you working closely with our Senior Leadership Team as well as project managers to support the successful execution of our projects.

This position is for 0.8 – 1.0 FTE depending on the applicant’s work-life requirements and the candidate’s skills.

Work Requirements

Our initial requirement is for a project coordinator with some experience successfully managing technical projects. 

Qualifications & Experience

A bachelors degree (or higher) in a STEM or commerce subject is desirable.

To qualify for this role you must be located in Auckland and authorized to work in New Zealand.

A candidate with 2+ years of project management experience in any technical industry is preferred.

Embedded Software Engineer - Auckland

In this position, you will be developing embedded control systems for a number of exciting new projects to support our clients.

A diverse range of projects means you can be assigned to projects that best fit your skills and experience. The developments are frequently on established platforms for large clients who market their leading-edge products internationally.  Innovation and improved efficiency are always sought.

This position will have you working closely with our Firmware Development Team Leaders and alongside other technical staff to support the successful execution of our projects.

Work Requirements

Our initial requirement is for an embedded developer with embedded C programming skills. Experience with embedded C development is a requirement.

Qualifications & Experience

A bachelors degree (or higher) in Software, Electrical or Computer Systems Engineering or equivalent is required.

To qualify for this role you must be located in Auckland and authorized to work in New Zealand.

A candidate with 2+ years of experience is preferred, although an exceptional graduate would be considered.

FlexWare Summer Internship Programme [CLOSED]

Applications for the summer student internship are now open! 

We are looking for a Software or Electronics student with experience in programming and project development for a summer internship (November – February).

The student we take on will have the opportunity to work on our projects which range from app developments and websites to embedded system development.

Skills required

Our initial requirement is for an embedded developer with embedded C programming skills

Students must be in their third or final year of an Engineering or Science Degree in software or electronics. Previous experience is a big plus but not required.

The successful applicant will be paid above New Zealand’s living wage.

This position is for 0.6 – 1.0 FTE depending on the applicant’s work-life requirements and the candidate’s skills.

Work Requirements

Our initial requirement is for an electronics technician familiar with soldering, crimping cable assemblies and experience creating robust documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

A diploma (or higher) in Software, Electrical or Computer Systems Engineering would be desirable.

To qualify for this role you must be located in Auckland and authorized to work in New Zealand.

A candidate with 2+ years of experience is preferred, although an exceptional graduate would be considered.
